¡Hola! Quise escribir sobre esto porque soy alguien interesada en jugar juegos chinos; sin embargo, la mayoría de los tutoriales que vas a encontrar en internet hablan de RPGs y plataformas donde probablemente no vas a encontrar juegos otome chinos. Esa es principalmente la razón por la que elegí escribir esta entrada. Me sentí muy frustrada al descubrir cómo las jugadoras del extranjero pierden la posibilidad de disfrutar este tipo de juegos (no, en serio, hay algo en las tramas que no vas a encontrar en ningún otro) debido a la verificación obligatoria de una identificación real. Entonces empecé a buscar posibles formas de evitar esa verificación o de pasarla, lo cual me trajo hasta este punto. No soy experta ni tengo todas las respuestas o soluciones a esta restricción, pero me gustaría compartir la información y los trucos que aprendí para, al menos, hacer el tema menos frustrante para quienes estén interesados, como lo fue para mí.
(Publiqué la mayoría de esta información en X hace mucho tiempo, aunque lamentablemente algunos de los juegos que compartí en ese momento ya pasaron a mejor vida, así que era mejor traer esto a un lugar más público y fácil de administrar para mí.)
Lista de cosas necesarias:
- Número de teléfono
- Cédula de identidad (la tuya, plus si es de un adulto)
- Dirección de correo electrónico
Primera opción: Bilibili
Crear una cuenta de Bilibili es la mejor opción; tiene la opción de crear una cuenta con números de teléfono extranjeros, bastante fácil y no un dolor de cabeza como otras (cof Weibo, QQ, cof). Esta es la plataforma china más amigable para extranjeros, y el único requisito para jugar es verificar tu identidad. Básicamente, se trata de enviar un correo al soporte del sitio para poder verificar tu cuenta (con identificación) y así jugar. Es obligatorio; de otra forma, la app no te va a dejar entrar a ningún juego ni jugar sin eso.
Pros: Una vez que verificaste tu cuenta, no hace falta volver a hacerlo (para adultos que ya fueron verificados). Ahora tienes acceso completo e ilimitado al catálogo de juegos de Bilibili (incluyendo otomes, que es por lo que vinimos).
Contras: Si eres menor de edad, lamentablemente hay un límite de tiempo para jugar, aunque no es imposible jugar (¿solo una hora al día, creo? por las leyes chinas).

Necesitas adjuntar 3 fotos en el correo: el frente de tu ID/pasaporte, el respaldo, y una foto tuya sosteniendo tu ID/pasaporte.
Cosas a tener en cuenta: Una vez que tu cuenta está verificada, puedes descargar el juego de la plataforma que prefieras el único pero es que debes fijarte si el juego tiene el logo de Bilibili en la portada— eso significa que puedes iniciar sesión con tu cuenta de Bilibili sin problema.
Segunda opción: WeChat y mini-programas
Esta es la que más uso yo; permite crear una cuenta de WeChat con un número de teléfono extranjero. El paso complicado es que necesitas a alguien que ya tenga una cuenta de WeChat para activar la tuya. Una vez que tienes tu cuenta, no es necesario verificar tu identidad y vas a tener acceso a los mini-juegos de la app (hay algunos otomes, no es una mala opción la verdad). Sin embargo, esta opción no solo es útil por los mini-programas, sino también porque la mayoría de los otomes chinos para Android tienen la opción de iniciar sesión con WeChat o QQ. Los mini-programas no necesitan verificación de identidad, entonces si ya tienes tu cuenta, no tienes que preocuparte por eso.
Cosas a tener en cuenta: No todas las apps van a tener la opción de iniciar sesión con WeChat, pero no te preocupes demasiado, es raro que pase. También existe la posibilidad de que el juego, después de iniciar sesión exitosamente con WeChat, pida una verificación de identidad (sí, no es muy común pero es posible), y la mala noticia es que solo una identificación china puede pasar por ahí. Si tienes algún amigo chino que te pueda prestar su ID, entonces posiblemente podrías jugar; si no, bueno, la posibilidad no es cero pero sí bastante ilegal, la verdad (más adelante voy a hablar de eso).
Tercera opción: Cuenta de QQ
No recomiendo esta. Es difícil, frustrante y vas a necesitar verificar una identificación china para poder jugar. Esta opción es crear una cuenta de QQ (mi peor enemigo), pero la verdad es que es difícil recibir el SMS para registrar la cuenta; si puedes hacerlo, entonces vas a tener que ir a la página de QQ para registrar una identificación china, y cada una se puede usar para cinco cuentas que permitan jugar desde ahí. La verdad no es lo mío; no hay mucho en el catálogo más que RPGs y usualmente juegos como Naruto y los que se juegan a nivel mundial (lo cual es bueno pero no lo que estamos buscando acá jajaja).
Cuarta opción (solo juegos de NetEase)
Buenas noticias: si quieres jugar en un servidor chino uno de sus juegos, me alegra decirte que no estás perdida. Tienen la opción de crear una cuenta con un número extranjero y también puedes verificar la cuenta con tu propio ID (no saben cuánto agradezco esto, casi lloro). NetEase tiene una plataforma llamada "NetEase Gog/Dashen" o "网易大神"; crear una cuenta acá te va a permitir iniciar sesión en sus juegos. Sin embargo, las restricciones de edad siguen vigentes, y dependiendo de la edad recomendada del juego vas a necesitar verificar tu cuenta. Es un proceso muy similar al de Bilibili: la página donde ves tu cuenta tiene un botón que refiere a la autenticación de nombre real, tomas tus fotos y esperas la verificación. No debería darte ningún problema.

Usa la app del enlace de arriba ya que es más fácil encontrar la opción de autenticación; ayúdate con apps de traducción en pantalla (personalmente uso Tap to Translate).
El método ilegal (y no tan secreto)
No es ningún secreto si has buscado en Google formas de conseguir un número de identificación gratuito y utilizable (por lo general depende de la plataforma; por ejemplo, QQ limita el uso de cada identificación a solo cinco verificaciones de cuenta, aunque no estoy seguro de cómo funciona en otras plataformas). La manera más sencilla es consultar las listas de identificaciones compartidas en línea (la mayoría se encuentran en Scribd bajo el nombre "Chinese ID"); es un proceso frustrante y tedioso, pero cuando encuentras una válida, funciona.
Elige una identificación y un nombre al azar y pruébalos en la plataforma del juego; necesitas armarte de MUCHA PACIENCIA, ya que puede llevarte minutos u horas. Sé que suena a tortura, pero al final la decisión es tuya. Sinceramente, no hay mucho más que decir al respecto: es un verdadero dolor de cabeza y no me gustaría tener que pasar por ese calvario otra vez, jaja. Te recomiendo encarecidamente usar Bilibili, a menos que tengas en mente un juego específico que no esté en su catálogo. ¡Buena suerte!

Hi there! I wanted to write about this since i'm someone interested in playing chinese games, however most tutorials you will find on internet talk about rpgs and platforms where you can't (probably) find Chinese otome games. That's mostly the reason why i chose to write this entry. I was very frustrated to find how overseas players lose the possibility of enjoying this kind of games (no, really, there is something about the plots you won't find at any other games) because of the mandatory verification of a real ID. Then I began looking for possible ways of either avoid that verification or to pass it bringing myself to this point. I'm not an expert and neither i have all the answers or solutions to this restriction but I will like to share the info and tricks I learned to at least make the topic less frustating for the ones interested as it was for me.
(I posted most of this info on X a lot of time ago, yet some of the games I shared then sadly have passed to a better life, better to bring this to somewhere more public an easy for me to manage)
List of necessaries:
Phone number
ID card (yours +plus if it is from an adult)
Email address
The first option: Bilibili
Creating a Bilibili account is the best choice, it has the option of creating an account with foreigns phone numbers, pretty easy and not a pain in the butt as others… (cof weibo, qq, cof) This is the most friendly CN platform for foreigners and the only requirement to play is to verify your identity. Basically sending an email to the support of the site to be able to verify yout account (with ID) to play. It’s mandatory, either way the app is not going to let you enter any game and neither to play.
- Pros: Once you have verified your account there’s no need of doing it again (for adults that have been verified). Now you can have complete and unlimited access to Bilibili’s catalog of games. (Including otomes bc that’s why we are here)
- Cons: If you are a minor, sadly it has a limit of time for playing, yet it is not impossible to play (just one hour a day i think? bc of CN laws)

You need to attach 3 photos which include your id/passport front, back and a photo of yourself holding your id/passport in the e-mail.
Things to have into account:
Once your account is verified you need to download the game you want to play from the bilibili’s app, other way it wouldn’t work (from what i know), also, check if the game have bilibili’s logo on the cover of the app, it means you can login with your bilibili account without problem.
Second option: WeChat and miniprograms
This is the one I mostly use, it allows to create an account of Wechat with a foreign phone number. The complicated step is that you need someone who already has a Wechat account to activate yours. Once you have your account it is not neccesary to verify your identity and you will have access to the minigames of the app (there are some otome games, not a bad option to be honest). Yet, this option is not only useful bc of the miniprograms but also because most CN otome games for android have the option of log in with Wechat or QQ. Miniprograms don't need the verification of ID, then if you already have your account, you don't need to worry about it.
Things to have into account:
Not all apps will have the option of Log In with Wechat, but don’t worry too much, it is rare for it to happen. Also, there is a possiblity that the game after log in succesfully with Wechat asks for a verification of ID (yep, not too common but possible), the bad new is that only Chinese ID is able to pass through it. If you have any CN friend that can lend you their ID then you could possibly play, if not, well, the possibility is not zero but pretty illegal to be honest (later i’m going to talk about it)
Third option: QQ Account
I don’t recommend this one. It is difficult, frustrating and you will need to verify a Chinese ID to be able to play. This option is to create an account of QQ (my worst enemy) but to be honest it is difficut to receive the sms to register the account, if you can do it then you will need to go to the page of QQ to register a Chinese ID, each one can be used for five accounts to allow playing from it. Not really my thing, there is not much in the catalog but rpgs and usually games as Naruto and the ones that are played worldwide (what is good but not what we are looking for here lmaoooo)
Fourth option (only Netease games)
Good news, if you want to play on a CN server one of their games i'm glad to tell you you are not cooked. They have the option to create an account with a foreign number and you can also verificate your account with your own ID (you'all don't know how much i feel grateful i could cry). Netease has a platform called "Netease Gog/Dashen" or "网易大神", creating an account here will let you log in in their games, yet, the restrictions of age are still on, fot that and depending on the recommended age of the game you will need to verificate your account. This is a very similar process to the one of Bilibili's, the page where you see your account has a button that refers to the authentication of real name, take your photos and wait for the verification. It shouldn't give you any problem.

- Use the app of the link above since it's easier to find the option to authenticate, support yourself along with apps of translating on screen (personally I use Tap to translate)
The Illegal and not-so-secret way
This is not much of a secret if you have looked at google for anyway of getting an ID for free and available to use (it usually depends on the platform, at least QQ has the limit each ID can be used just five times to verificate an account, i'm not sure about other platforms). The easiest way is to look at the list of ID's that had been shared online (most of them are up in scribd by that name: chinese ID) this is frustating and painful, but when you find one available it works.
Choose a random ID and name and test it on the platform your game is, you need to be VERY PATIENT, it could take you minutes or hours, I know it sounds like torture, but at the end it's your choice. There is no much i can say about this, to be honest, its a pain in the butt and I wouldn't like to pass through that suffering again lmao. I deeply recommend bilibili unless you have in mind a specific game that is not in their catalog, good luck buddy.
